Smart Streaming is pleased to announce that its "iConferencing System" which developed together with QY Network Guangdong Company Limited (QY) has been awarded the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2012 - Best Collaboration (Service) Award.

The award is a recognition of the successful innovative collaboration between Smart Streaming and QY developing the outstanding service in the two regions. The comments from Judging Panel: "This is an innovative collaboration model between a Hong Kong web conference service prodiver company and a mainland Internet service provider with huge Internet infrastructure. The Hong Kong company obtains the right to redevelop the system owned by the mainland partner and sells the enhanced system to its Hong Kong and overseas clients. In return, the mainland partner earns income from the data travel generated via the web conference process. This give and take approach is of good business benefit to both parties."

The Awards Presentation Ceremony of the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2012 was held on 3 April 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Organising Committee is honored to have The Honourable John Tsang, GBM, JP, Financial Secretary, as the Guest of Honour and Ms. Elizabeth Tse, JP, Permanent Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (Communications & Technology) Commerce and Economic, as award presenter.
